Enrollment Resources for Families and Students
To enroll in SPSSeattle Public Schools schools, students must live within the district attendance boundaries. We welcome enrollment of non-resident studentsNon-resident students are those who don't live within the Seattle School district if they have been approved a choice transfer request. Help is Available
We are here to help answer registration, enrollment, and assignment questions. Help is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Amharic, Somali or Vietnamese.

Seattle Public Schools offers a variety of programs and services to meet a range of student needs, including English learners and special education.

Preschool and Kindergarten
If your child is 5 by August 31, you can enroll them in kindergarten for that year! Learn more about preschool options and how to help prepare your children for kindergarten.

Where will my student go to school?
Students are assigned to a school based on where they live. Use our address lookup tool and find attendance area maps.

Can we choose a different school?
Students may apply to attend a different school through the School ChoiceStudents may choose to apply for another attendance area school, including K-8 process.
