Early Learning Vision

At Seattle Public Schools our vision is for every child to to participate in a quality, cohesive and joyful early learning experience that will provide a strong foundation to support their success in school and life. Our preschool programs offer children and families opportunity and access to classrooms and school communities with a positive climate, and teachers who are ready and able to meet their individual needs in high-quality, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environments.

Seattle Preschool Program

Head Start Preschool

A federally funded child development program for eligible families serving three- and four-year-old children. For information on programs offered at each school. More information available at:  Head Start preschool

Developmental Preschool

For children age 3-5 determined eligible with a disability that impacts educational progress and who are in need of specially designed instruction. For information on programs offered at each school. More information available at:  Early Childhood Special Education

Community Based Providers
