New Student Enrollment for the current school year, 2025-26, is open. New Student Enrollment for 2026-27 opens Jan. 5, 2026.
Enrollment Information Session
The SPS Enrollment Team hosted a series of community information sessions designed to make the enrollment process easy. If you weren’t able to attend, we have provided the presentation and recording from one of those sessions below.
Dec. 9 Enrollment Info Session Presentation
Every Seattle Public Schools (SPS) student is assigned to their attendance area school based on where they live. Students may apply to attend a different school through the Open Enrollment for School Choice process.
Open Enrollment for School Choice submissions by Jan. 31 are on-time and considered for tiebreakers. Late applications accepted until March 31.
