Enrollment Fair and Open House Jan. 9

To help families prepare to enroll new students, we are hosting an informational event on Saturday, Jan. 9! Learn more about option schools, and talk with staff about Seattle Public Schools (SPS) programs and services.

Join us to ask questions about the upcoming school year, learn more about Open Enrollment for School Choice, and the many outstanding programs and services available for SPS students. 

The SPS Enrollment Fair is Saturday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John Stanford Center, 2445 3rd Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98134.

Many, but not all schools will be represented at this fair. Please check with the front office staff at the school you are interested in learning more about to confirm their attendance. 

Many schools offer in-person school tours and open houses. Please visit the school’s website or check with the school’s front office staff for more information.

Documents Needed for Student Enrollment

New students and families are welcome to enroll for the 2027-28 school year at the Enrollment Fair. Families enrolling new students should bring:

• Two proofs of address dated within the past two months
• Parent/guardian photo ID
• Student birth certificate or passport (only for those enrolling in kindergarten and first grade)
• Student vaccination records

Enrollment Information Sessions

The SPS Enrollment team is hosting community information sessions to help answer questions about:

• How the enrollment process works
• The Open Enrollment for School Choice lottery timeline
• Understanding Open Enrollment for School Choice options and eligibility
