Volunteer Registration Process

For the safety of our students it is essential all volunteers follow this process, so please share this update with your fellow volunteers. Reach out to the Self Help office with any questions.

School Volunteers: This application process is required for volunteer roles that support students directly and/or involve regular access to students (classroom or library support, recess and lunch assistance, chaperoning field trips, etc.) Visit the Volunteer Application Process web page to get started.

Self Help Volunteers: Self-Help volunteers work on projects that benefit the entire school community and they do not work with students directly. Volunteer at schools more than once a year, or on an ongoing basis with Self Help Projects. Self Help volunteers may serve as hosts for Event Volunteers. To be eligible Self Help Volunteers must complete the online registration process.

Event Volunteers: Volunteer at a one time event or service day. Event volunteers will only be on site when accompanied by a registered Self Help Volunteer or supervised by an SPS employee. To be eligible, Event Volunteers must complete the online registration process.

Following any volunteering, please submit a photo or scanned copy of a completed Volunteer Sign-in Sheet for our records.
