4. Appointment of Discipline Appeal Council Membership and Amendment to Board Policy No. 3201, Discipline Appeal Council Approval of this item would appoint members and alternate members, as attached to the Board Action Report, to serve Discipline Appeal Council terms beginning October 2, 2023 and running through the end of the 2025-26 school year. In the event new members have not been reappointed prior to the start of the 2026-27 school year, existing appointments will remain active until no later than October 31, 2026 to provide DAC continuity as new appointments are finalized. Approval of this item would also amend Board Policy No. 3201, Discipline Appeal Council, as attached to the Board Action Report. Immediate action is in the best interest of the district. 5. BEX IV: Final Acceptance of Contract P5131 with Lincoln Construction, Inc for the Washington Middle School Seismic Improvement project Approval of this item would accept the work performed under Contract P5131 with Lincoln Construction, Inc. for the Washington Middle School Seismic Improvement project as final. Immediate action is in the best interest of the district.

Approval of Board Resolution No. 2023/24-4 resolving that those persons newly elected November 7, 2023 to the Seattle School District Board of Directors be designated to attend the Annual Conference of the Washington State School Directors’ Association, to be held November 16-18, 2023, as representatives of the district  Approval of this item would adopt Resolution No. 2023/24-4, as attached to this Board Action Report, resolving that those persons newly elected November 7, 2023 to the Seattle School District Board of Directors be designated to attend the Annual Conference of the Washington State School Directors’ Association, to be held November 16-18, 2023, as representatives of the district.
