A. Consent Agenda

  1. Minutes of the November 15, 2021 Board Special Meeting and November 17, 2021 Regular Board Meeting

  3. Classified Mentorship Program Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) (Exec, Nov 10, for approval) Approval of this item would approve the Classified Mentorship Program MOA as attached to the School Board Action Report. 
  4. Amendment and renaming of Board Policy No. 1822, Training & Professional Development for Board Members/Participation in School Directors’ Association; amendment of Board Policy No. 1112, Board Member Orientation; and repeal of Board Policy No. 1805, Open Government Trainings (Exec, Nov 10, for approval) Approval of this item would amend Board Policy No. 1112, Board Member Orientation, as attached to the Board Action Report; amend and rename Board Policy No. 1822, Training & Professional Development for Board Members/Participation in School Directors’ Association, as attached to the Board Action Report; and repeal Board Policy No. 1805, Open Government Trainings.
  5. Acceptance of Seattle University grant funding for the 2021 – 2022 school year for the central Seattle school and neighborhood network (SSC&I, Nov 9, for consideration) Approval of this item would authorize the Superintendent to accept grant funds from Seattle University in the amount of $300,000 through the end of the 2021-2022 school year for the creation of a school, family, and community network to support up to six elementary schools. 
  6. Annual Approval of Schools per WAC 180-16-220 (SSC&I, Nov 9, for consideration) Approval of this item would approve each school within the District as having a school improvement plan that is data driven, promotes a positive impact on student learning, and includes a continuous improvement process, as required by WAC 180-16-220. (Updated Since Introduction)
