Biography

This is my 7th year at Loyal Heights, teaching kindergarten. It's a privilege to be a part of students' first experience in elementary school. Kindergarten is the best!

Personal Message

Hello!  I've taught at Loyal Heights since 2012 and I'm excited to move to 4th  grade for the 2020-2021 school  year.  I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Criminal Justice from Washington State University.  After 15 years in the corporate world, I
decided to follow my heart and went back to school to become a teacher,
receiving my certification from UW-Bothell.
Every day I know this was the right decision. I grew up in Seattle in
the Magnolia and Ballard neighborhoods – I even went to Loyal Heights for 5th & 6th grade.  I live in Ballard with my overly fluffy cat, Georgie.
