End of Year Message from Superintendent Jones

Summary: Superintendent Jones has a special year-end message for our families.

Superintendent Jones Year-End Message to Families

As we approach the end of 2024, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our students, families, educators, and partners. Your dedication and support continue to inspire us, and we look forward to all that we will accomplish together in 2025.

Superintendent Jones has a special year-end message for our families.

Schools will be closed from Dec. 23 to Jan. 3, 2025, for winter break. Classes will resume on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.

We encourage all students to take their electronic devices home during the break. These will be essential for remote instruction should snow days occur. Seattle Public Schools and Seattle Education Association worked together to create a remote instruction plan for potential snow days. Families will be notified directly by their school if remote learning is initiated.

We hope this holiday season brings you joy, rest, and quality time with loved ones.
