Summary: A Huge Thank You to our Voters!

A Huge Thank You to our Voters!

A huge thank you to our voters! Based on the current election results, both Proposition 1 (Educational Programs & Operations Levy) and Proposition 2 (Building Excellence Capital Levy) are passing.

We are grateful for the community’s participation in this election. Official results will be certified by King County Elections in the coming weeks.

Seattle Public Schools had two measures on the ballot:

  • Proposition 1 helps fund day-to-day school operations, including special education, multilingual programs, student support services, and student opportunities activities such as arts, music, and sports.
  • Proposition 2 provides funding for school building renovations, safety and security upgrades, and classroom technology, ensuring students and staff have safe and modern learning environments.

Both levies replace expiring ones and help bridge the gap between state funding and school needs.

We appreciate the support in these measures.
