Action Item

1. Final Superintendent Candidate Selection and Authorization to Commence Contract Negotiations. Approval of this item would select one candidate as the finalist for the position of Superintendent for Seattle Public Schools. Approval of this item would also authorize the Board President and Vice President, with the assistance of legal counsel, to negotiate an employment contract with the candidate for the position of Superintendent. The negotiated contract shall subsequently be presented to the Board for approval. Immediate action is in the best interest of the District. (Materials added 11/4/25)
