SPS Honors Retiring Class of 2026 and Their Lasting Impact
Seattle Public Schools proudly celebrates the 2025–26 retiring class—124 remarkable individuals whose dedication has shaped generations of students and strengthened our entire school community. Together, these retirees represent an extraordinary 2,845 years of service to Seattle’s students, families, and schools.
To honor their contributions, SPS is hosting a retirement celebration at the John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence on Tuesday, June 9, to recognize the extraordinary careers and lasting impact of this year’s retirees.
From classrooms to cafeterias, offices to playgrounds, each of these individuals has played a vital role in advancing SPS’s mission of excellence and equity in education. Their collective impact is felt in every corner of our district.
As we celebrate this milestone, we extend our deepest gratitude to each member of the 2025–26 retiring class. Thank you for your years of service, your care for students, and your commitment to public education.
