Media Relations

Communication Tools

It is our goal to ensure families, staff, community members and the media receive accurate and timely information.

Email Messages

Emails will be used to share updates from principals, messages regarding school events, and school community updates.

Robo-calls

Recorded phone messages will be used for urgent or emergency notifications and attendance calls to parents/guardians.

Text Messages

Talking Points text messages provides schools the option to easily communicate with families in their home language via text message.

Talking Points messages can be automatically translated into more than 110 home languages.

Teachers and school staff can message individual student’s families, entire classes, and the school community (school admins are able to send to the school community).

Peachjar

The district uses Peachjar to share digital flyers.

This platform enables us to share district and community flyers while saving our schools time, money, and paper.

SPS approved digital flyers will be sent out to families by email and published on the school and district website. No action is required to begin receiving this communication from your school.
