Hi, I’m Christa! I moved to Seattle from Chicago, where I taught special education for the Deaf and hard of hearing for 7 years. I came to the Emerald City for the mountain views and the fresh air. I love to work with all students across all grade levels, connecting with and supporting them with kindness and care. I also work weekends serving at a Ballard restaurant, and in my spare time, I love to read, snuggle with my two cats, and play all kinds of board and video games.

I am an artist, a writer, and a former Seattle Public School student. I loves making things with people of all ages and has taught art all around the world! In my free time, you can find me exploring with my family, working in my garden, or cheering loudly for my favorite teams, the OL Reign and Seattle Storm.
