Seattle Public Schools

Hi everyone! I am very excited to be teaching science at Lincoln! I grew up in Dallas but moved to SoCal when I was around 9. I’ve been in Seattle for 6 years now and have grown to love the moody rain, trees, and good coffee! Before moving to Seattle, I earned my B.S. in Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I also earned my teaching certification through the Scheller Teacher Education Program.

Before coming to Lincoln, I was teaching undergraduate Astronomy and Astrobiology as a PhD student at the University of Washington. I am excited to work with high schoolers and help them find the connections between science and society as they learn to view the world through the lens of science.
