I’m Andie Alesandrini (they/them), and besides teaching science, I’m also a physicist and a researcher. I taught at Garfield High School many years ago before doing a PhD at UW studying the teaching and learning of physics. I am a nerd about how people make sense of the world around them. Outside of work, I find joy in wandering around outside with my kids looking at plants and dancing like no one is watching at local shows.
