Social Studies Teacher

My name is Katie Cassidy (she/her) and I am in the social studies department at LHS. I am passionate about creating relevant social studies curriculum for civically engaged young people. Originally from the east coast, I graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in Social Studies Education, a B.A. in History, and a B.A. in Spanish. I recently completed my M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from City University and my National Boards Certification in 2023. In my free time you can find me rollerblading, crocheting, and playing saxophone (not all at the same time…) Let’s have a great year! Go Lynx!
