Kel Parsley began his teaching career as an ESL teacher living and working abroad before returning to the U.S. in 2019 to start teaching Social Studies in public schools. Mr. Parsley spent 2.5 years teaching in Maryland, then a year teaching in Colorado, until finally landing in Washington in 2023 and teaching in the public systems in and around Seattle since then. He holds a Bachelors in History from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Western Governors University. He will be fulfilling all of Mr. Laudick’s duties until Mr. Laudick’s return in January, 2025.
