I’ve been teaching science at Garfield since 2011. I love the ‘Aha’ moment that I have with my students when they have been working on a complex problem and they finally get it and are able to explain how the world works.

Despite the gloom and doom scenarios around climate change and the environment that are young people are inheriting, I believe passionately that we can change that outcome and create a better future. I teach compassion, creativity, and that everyone has something powerful to contribute.
