Biography

Ms. Wise is a professionally trained opera singer with her BA in music education/vocal performance. She has a certification in performing arts from AMDA in NYC and has been teaching, directing, performing and choreographing for over 15 years. Ms. Wise has a passion for education, music and the performing arts. She loves to inspire her students and families and is so excited to be a member of the Gatewood and Hawthorne Communities.

Biography

I am a 3rd grade teacher at Gatewood Elementary. I graduated from Washington State University in 2013 and I've been working at Gatewood ever since. I did my student teaching here while I was still in school and I'm so happy that I was able to start my career here as well. I live in West Seattle and I love being part of the Gatewood community.

Hello Gatewood Gators! I’m so excited to be back teaching 3rd grade math and science while teaming with the fabulous and talented Ms. Ott. It’s hard to believe that this will be my 15th year teaching at Gatewood. As many of you know, all three of my kids attended Gatewood and have gone on to achieve great success in middle school, high school, and now college.  I continue to believe that Gatewood has the best staff and administration in the school district and is truly a special place to learn.
