I am a math teacher who has been working with Interagency Academy since early 2000. I hold a BA in English from the University of Georgia, a Masters in Teaching from Seattle Pacific University, and am a National Board Certificated teacher in AYA Math, endorsed in English, Mathematics and Physical Education. Along with teaching I love playing outdoors in the PNW with my wife and kids.

I am the Special Education/Online Teacher at Beacon Academy. I have been an educator for 23 years now, this will be my 4th year with IA. I grew up on the East Coast and lived in 7 different states throughout my life. I have been in Seattle now for 8 years. I love to travel, being in the outdoors, especially the beach, music, and doing things with my family and dog.
I’ve taught at Interagency long enough to see second generation Gray Wolves come through my classroom. I love that once you are part of the IA family, you are always part of it. My wife and I have two daughters, both of whom are now off at college so we are adjusting to the life of empty-nesters. My passions include reading all different kinds of books, traveling to new places, and walking my dog through different neighborhoods around Seattle.
