Science Teacher
kedavidson@seattleschools.orgHello Lynx! I love anything related to science, the outdoors, or the Seahawks. I earned a B.A. in Biology from Whitman College where I also was on the varsity swim team. After graduation, I worked in the outdoor industry, spent a lot of time on ski slopes, and started coaching local swim teams. I decided to combine my love of science and my experience working with youth and went back to school to earn my Masters in Teaching from Seattle University. Outside of the classroom, you will probably find me at the pool or running with my two chocolate labs.

meblair1@seattleschools.orgHello, I’m Margaret Blair, (she/her) and I’m a native of the magnolia state, Mississippi. I’m honored to be joining the staff of Lincoln High School! Prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest, I had taught for 12 years in both middle (6-8) and high school English (I-IV) as well as the English electives, Debate and Oral Communication. I love to utilize quotes in my classroom and allow for students to offer their interpretations and thoughts to foster higher level thinking. One of my favorite quotes was stated by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “…Intelligence, plus character- that is the goal of true education.” I received the Bachelor of Arts in English from Mississippi Valley State University, home of 49ers great, Jerry Rice. I then went on to earn the Master of Science in Education with Walden University. I’ve taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Language Arts for the past three years at Eckstein Middle School in the Seattle Public School district, and I’m ready to again submerge myself in the waters of high school life! I’ve been an owl, a cougar, a cub, a hornet, an eagle, and now I get to be a lynx!
