Biography

Hi! My name is Mrs. Prewitt. I have been teaching fifth grade at John Muir since 2005, so our school feels like my home away from home! I love our awesome staff and families, but most of all…our amazing students! Besides teaching at John Muir, my other favorite things to do are spend time with my wonderful husband, Andre, and our children, go shopping, spend time outside on beautiful days, read, watch movies and sports, and drink coffee.

Administrative Secretary

Hello. I am proud to say this is my 18th year at John Muir, 3rd year as the Administrative Secretary.  When I’m not at work I enjoy long walks, cooking, baking and spending as much time with my sweet grandson as possible.

John Muir is a special place and I am so grateful to be part of such an amazing community of educators.

I love teaching and living in the central district in Seattle. Reading can take us to magical places, help us make informed decisions and learn new things! My goal is to help all students learn to find a love of reading! On the weekends I like to spend time in nature with my dogs and family, read a good graphic novel and (attempt) to bake.
