I have been working in education since 2000 and have been working at Roxhill since 2010. I love that I’ve been able to be a part of the Roxhill community for so long. It makes me so happy to see my kindergarten students grow up and become amazing young folks. Some things I like to do when I’m not at school are read, play guitar, listen to music, watch (and talk about) baseball, and travel. – Mr. Popelka

I have been working in education since 2006 and have been working at Roxhill Elementary since 2014 and at Genesee Hill Elementary since 2025. I believe that social emotional skills are vital to the success of our children. Getting to see students grow into kind, empathetic, problem solvers, gives me confidence in future generations. When I am not at school, I enjoy being outside in nature! Whether that means gardening, camping, traveling, or just floating down a river. I also love ultimate frisbee and traveling. -Ms. Amber
