Hello Lynx! I’m looking forward to another year of Science at Lincoln. This year I’ll teach Marine Science and 9th grade science (Physics A/Chemistry A).
This will be my 7th year working with Seattle Public Schools. Before teaching at Lincoln I taught high school science at Garfield and 7th/8th grade science at South Shore in Rainier Beach. My background is in outdoor education. After college I spent over 10 years teaching youth different job readiness, leadership, and outdoor skills. From building trails in local parks to doing marine biology experiments on boats in Puget Sound. I love exploring the natural world and trying to figure out how things work.
In my free time I enjoy biking, swimming, woodworking, growing tomatoes in the pea-patch, baking blackberry pie, and going on outdoor adventures with my family. I have three kids (7 months, 7 years, and 9 years old) and a cat. See you in science!!
