Hey Lynx! Super excited to begin my 3rd year at Lincoln as the Marine Science Teacher! I’m originally from Fresno, CA, but have spent summers in the PNW since I was a kid. I graduated in 2023 from the University of San Diego and have been in the Seattle area ever since. In college, much of my undergraduate research was focused on ecology, physics, and other science concepts in Latin American indigenous cultures. I was even able to conduct field research on the Yucatan Peninsula my senior year.  I’m also currently pursuing a Master’s in Education at the University of Washington- Go Dawgs!!

In my free time, I write (mostly creative nonfiction), read, and spend time outside. I love to swim, run, sail, bike, and I’m also on a local club water polo team. Marine Science is a subject I’m super passionate about, and I’m excited to share that excitement with others :)
