Seattle Public Schools

I am so glad to have the opportunity to lead such a wonderful school! Before switching to a leadership role, I taught in the Seattle Schools for 20 years.

I love being in classrooms, problem solving, and supporting our amazing teachers, students and families. I have 2 daughters, one who attends Roosevelt high school and one recently graduated from college. When I'm not working, I love to read, travel and hike.  I believe that all students can be successful with a supportive environment, positive relationships and strong instruction.

I have been a School Counselor since Fall of 2000. I received my B.A. from Western Washington University and my M.Ed. from City University, Seattle. I also hold a license as a Mental Health Counselor within the State of Washington.
