Hi, I’m Elly! I moved to Seattle from rural North Carolina and have since held many different roles in a number of schools. I have worked at the preschool, elementary, middle and high school levels and I love working with kids at every age! I particularly love when I get to support students through difficult emotions. Outside of school, I like to go on outdoor adventures with my dog.

I am honored and excited to be joining Lincoln High School! Although I was born and raised in Chicago, my family has made Seattle our home.  I have been in education for the past 15 years serving as a paraeducator, teacher, interventionist at both middle and high school levels.  Most recently I served as a Dean of Students in the Highline Public School District.

My educational journey in the PNW began as a special education teacher in the Bellevue School District.  As I continued my growth in education it led me to the University of Washington and receiving my masters in Educational Leadership.  From there I spent 3 years in the Highline School District as a dean of students. I am thrilled to be here at Lincoln High and I am dedicated to creating a learning community that is accessible and empowering for every student.  My hopes that all Lincoln students feel seen, heard, and loved throughout their journey at LHS and beyond! Go Lynx!

I love spending time with my wife and two kids, all things football (BOTH the Chicago Bears and Seahawks), and have a love for comic books. I look forward to meeting and working with the Lincoln High community!
