Bids, Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) documents are available online at no charge at Builders Exchange of Washington, unless instructed otherwise.

  • Bids and General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) are under Public Works.
  • RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs are under Goods and Services.

It is recommended that bidders register as a bidder in order to download addenda, receive automatic email notification of future addenda, and to be placed on the “bidders list.”

  • RFP012401 Step 1: Qualifications Design-Build (DB) Services for Audio/Visual & Safety/Security Systems Upgrades at Multiple Sites
    • The Seattle School District No. 1 (District) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Design-Build firms (which may include joint ventures) to provide Design-Build (DB) Services through Progressive Design-Build (PDB) contracting method for the RFP012401 Audio/Visual & Security Systems Upgrades at Multiple Sites project.
    • The DB firm will be tasked with a full range of project scoping, programming, validation, design services and related deliverables to describe the project for the purpose of negotiation of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), permit review (as required), subcontractor bidding, construction, commissioning, performance guarantees and other aspects of scope and terms sufficient to complete the project as required for use and occupancy by the district.
