Digital Learning Cohort

Seattle Excellence Educate. Engage. Empower Digital Learning Cohort - Professional Learning Sessions - School Group Discussions - 1:1 Coaching Meetings A year-long exploration of digital learning strategies designed to ensure equity and access for all students, focusing on those furthest from educational justice.

Digital Learning Cohort Overview:

During each school year, the SPS Digital Learning Team works with a different cadre of Digital Learning Cohort School teams to build expertise in digital learning strategies that will meet the needs of our students, families, and communities.

Together, the cohort schools foster teacher leadership for and integration of digital learning strategies, with an unapologetic emphasis on students furthest from educational justice.

The DL Cohort project consists of three essential components: Professional Learning, School Collaboration Groups, Individualized Coaching Meetings.

Digital Learning Cohort Goals and Objectives:

  • Participant schools and teachers will explore and expand the use of digital learning strategies to enhance and increase instructional effectiveness for all students, focusing on those furthest from educational justice.
  • Cohort schools will integrate digital learning strategies into existing SPS initiatives (e.g. Strategic Plan, Skillful Teacher, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Danielson Framework).
