The 2026 Open Science Quest application is closed. Check back in February 2027 for Summer 2027 opportunities.

In this unique class, students will participate in advanced lab activities, leaving with increased confidence in biomedical science research and data. Students will generate, analyze, and interpret scientific data and gain exposure to neuroscience, cell biology, and immunology. 

To apply for this program, you must have completed a biology class and be available to attend all of the dates and times listed below. Students who successfully complete this class will earn a $500 stipend and 0.5 high school credits. 


Pay: $500 check
Orientation: May 20, 2026 4-6 p.m.
Dates: July 7 – July 27, Monday – Friday
Times: between 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Location: Allen Institute (615 Westlake Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109)
