Youth Programming Roster
Youth Programming Roster
Seattle Public Schools is launching a new, standardized process for community-based organizations, nonprofits, and service providers seeking to partner with the district for the 2026–27 school year. Beginning June 15, 2026 all prospective partners must complete the Youth Program Services Roster Application in order to be vetted and considered for collaboration. This process is designed to ensure that all student-facing programs are aligned with district goals and guardrails, as well as individual school Continuous School Improvement Plans (CSIPs). While inclusion on the roster qualifies organizations for consideration, it does not guarantee funding or placement; rather, it creates a pool of approved providers that schools and departments may select from based on need, fit, and available resources.
The application captures key information about each organization’s programming, including a detailed program overview, implementation model (such as in-school, after-school, or virtual delivery), and the student populations served. Applicants are asked to demonstrate how their services promote equitable access and outcomes—particularly for students of color furthest from educational justice—and how their work aligns with district priorities and CSIPs. In addition, organizations must provide evidence of effectiveness, including past outcomes or evaluation data, outline staff qualifications and training, and describe how they will use data to monitor and improve program impact. Requirements related to safety, such as background checks, insurance, and staff training in areas like student safety and anti-bias practices, are also included.
Applications will be reviewed using a standardized scoring rubric, and Seattle Public Schools may request additional information or clarification during the review process. Organizations that meet the established criteria will be added to the Youth Program Services Roster for a defined term, contingent on ongoing compliance and performance.
