3434 Pregnant Students and Teenage Parents

It is the policy of the Seattle School Board that pregnant students and teenage parents be allowed to attend any Seattle School District program for which they qualify. It is also the policy of the Seattle School Board to provide at designated site(s) a special program of integrated educational and social services (e.g., coursework, health, parenting, and counseling) to pregnant students and teenage parents through collaborative agreements with youth-serving agencies to increase the likelihood of these students remaining in school and completing their education.
