Classroom Magic Makers: Most Valuable Educators Take the Spotlight
When Seattle Public Schools launched the All-Star Awards—a new tradition to recognize the incredible staff who go above and beyond in service to our students and school communities—we had no idea just how special the honor would become. The celebrations grew bigger and more exciting with each announcement.
In June, we honored our Most Valuable Educators—a group of outstanding individuals who bring energy, passion, and purpose to their roles. The award shines a spotlight on educators who exemplify excellence, teamwork, and unwavering commitment—whether they’re leading a classroom, supporting students behind the scenes, or helping to build a positive and inclusive school culture.
We received over 200 heartfelt nominations, with the majority coming from students—a powerful reminder of the deep and lasting impact our educators have every single day. From touching tributes to enthusiastic shout-outs, these nominations celebrated teachers, counselors, principals, nurses, and more who bring joy, inspiration, and dedication to their work.
Please join us in celebrating our 2025 SPS All-Stars Most Valuable Educators!
