Child Care Options at Seattle Public Schools

Below is a list of SPS childcare partners that are offering summer programming in SPS school buildings. Each childcare provider manages their own enrollment. Please contact them directly to learn if there are openings for childcare and to register your child.

If there is not a childcare program that has openings or is convenient for you, please visit the Child Care Resources website or call 1-800-446-1114; they maintain lists of all licensed childcare providers in Seattle and can help you identify options.

If your family needs help paying for childcare, please contact your current childcare provider if you are enrolled in a program or call the City’s Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL) at 206-386-1050. DEEL staff can help match you with childcare opportunities at Seattle Parks and Recreation community centers and licensed childcare providers city-wide who accept subsidies for qualifying families.

Please note that currently Child Cares are experiencing staffing shortages both locally and nationally, this impacts on the spacing and availability of child care programs. We are grateful for the work that Child Cares have done to adapt their operations since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
