Utility Conservation Programs at SPS

We collect data from all our utilities and track our use to help us measure our program success. When we save energy and water and reduce waste we save money too.

When funding allows, we help share utility savings across the District. In the past, eligible schools were automatically entered in the program in the Fall for use during the previous year.

Schools that meet conservation goals and/or reduce their utility use compared to the previous year received money from the District in Fall of the following year.

Purpose

Encourage conservation and education through utility data and benchmarking, distributed to each school.
