Seattle Public Schools has partnered with the Seattle Visiting Nurse Association (SVNA) to provide flu shot clinics for the public from September 17-October 21, 2021.

Six of these regional clinics will also offer COVID-19 vaccines for all students, staff and families who are twelve and up. COVID-19 clinics are in partnership with Safeway/Albertsons Pharmacy and Public Health Seattle King County

Getting the flu shot in the next few weeks is optimal for getting through the winter flu season. Flu shot clinics are held just inside the school and staff follow COVID protocols. Pre-enrolling for an appointment on the SVNA website is required however people who walk up may use their cell phone and a QR code to enroll. Flu shot clinics are open to any child (age 4 and above) and adult. Most insurance is accepted.

The best protection against COVID-19 is to get vaccinated. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is now available for anyone age 12 and older. The vaccine is free and available regardless of health insurance, citizenship, or immigration status. COVID-19 vaccines are safe and extremely effective. Students 17 and younger will need consent from a parent or other authorized adult to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
