General Program Information
- This program is for K – 4 students who were referred according to our universal screener, The Measure of Academic Progress or MAP.
- Students who attended Summer Quarter the previous year but no longer meet the qualification criteria may attend for one more year. After that, students must re-qualify based on updated data.
- Students must be currently enrolled in Seattle Public Schools as of January 5, 2026.
- The program runs for 22 days during the summer. Students must be available to attend all weeks of programming.
- Transportation will be provided to students who live more than one mile from a summer HUB site.

Program Dates and Times
June 29-July 31, 2026 (no school July 2, July 3, and July 6)
Student Hours: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Schools open at 7:45 a.m. for bus arrival and breakfast
Attendance Policy
To maximize student success, families are expected to send their child every day. The program runs for 22 days during the summer. Students must be available to attend all days of programming. If your child is sick, please keep them at home until they are fever free for 24 hours. If a student misses more than three days of instruction, they may be dropped from summer learning. During summer, chronic absenteeism is defined as 4+ absences.
Summer Site HUB Locations for 2026
Students are assigned to a Summer 2026 HUB site based on home address.
2026 Summer Hub Locations:
- Highland Park Elementary
- James Baldwin Elementary
- John Hay Elementary
- Kimball Elementary
- Olympic Hills Elementary
Transportation
- Transportation is be provided to students who live at least one mile from the Summer Learning HUB site where they are assigned.
- Transportation is limited to the home address of the student or limited designated Seattle Public Schools childcare sites.
- Transportation is not provided from non-designated day care or other non-home address sites.
