The application for Career Quest for Summer 2026 is now open!

Career Quest pairs high school students with local businesses and internal SPS Departments. Students can learn (0.5 CTE credit) and earn in a wide variety of fields, developing life-ready skills and gaining technical knowledge in one or more of the fields below. 

• Architecture, Design, and Arts
• Business, Project Management, and Marketing
• Construction Management
• Operations and Finance
• Education and Child Development
• Information Technology
• Skilled Trades

Pay: $21.30 per hour, must be 16 or older by 7/6/26 (United States work authorization paperwork required including W4, I-9 and social security number)

• Host-Student Match: June 3, 3:30pm-4:30pm (Teams Virtual Meeting)
• Student Launch Meeting: July 1, 10:00am-1:00pm (Franklin HS)
• Dates: July 7 – July 30, 2026
• Times:
  • Monday class from 10:00am-3:00pm at Franklin High School
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00am – 3:30pm (varies slightly) at internship site

Preferred Deadline of March 20, 2026 with rolling acceptances until all internship positions are filled.
