It is the policy of the Seattle School District to furnish school space , upon approval by the Superintendent, for student health clinics funded by outside organizations and/or other governmental bodies, provided that: 1) The health clinic operators insure and hold the District harmless from liability in connection with the clinics, 2) Written parent or guardian permission for students to be treated is received except for those services that either Federal or State laws allow access to treatment without parent/guardian consent, 3) Abortions will not be performed, and 4) Scope of health services offered will be reviewed and approved by the Superintendent through an annual assessment of student health needs data and consultation with Public Health – Seattle and King County.
