It is the policy of Seattle School Board to adopt and implement a broad course of study designed to serve the needs of students in this urban, diverse community. The course of study is defined as the set of standards necessary to matriculate a student from kindergarten through to graduation, which is within the Board’s power to prescribe, consistent with state law.
