DiscoverWorks

DiscoverWorks at Seattle Public Schools, Supported by the Ballmer Group

General Program Information

DiscoverWorks is offered through Seattle Public Schools for students entering grades one through nine in the 2026–27 school year. Made possible through support from the Ballmer Group, the program is provided at no cost to families and includes academic instruction, enrichment activities, meals, and full-day care.

DiscoverWorks helps students stay engaged, active, and learning throughout the summer. The program combines daily reading and math instruction with hands-on enrichment opportunities, including arts, STEM, sports, and educational field trips. Students learn, explore, and build skills in a safe, structured, and fun environment while preparing for success in the upcoming school year.
