Biotechnology/ Forensics
6-week Summer Program
Why wait?  Explore the real world Dr. Dayof science now!  Dr. Day, McClure's own science teacher, will be instructing a 6-week Summer Biotechnology Course which focuses on hands-on learning.  This program is made possible with the support of the Seattle Parks & Recreation CLC and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Science Education Partnership Program.  The course is open to all incoming 7th and 8th grade students (current 6th and 7th grade students) from both McClure and Whitman middle schools.

Few Spots Left for YMCA B.O.L.D. Mountain School Program

B.O.L.D. - Boys Outdoor Leadership Development - provides 5 - 16 day fishing, backpacking, rock climbing and mountaineering expeditions for boys 11 - 18 years of age .  These wilderness expeditions help young men develop communication, decision making and multi-cultural leadership skills through outdoor adventure, challenge and fun!  This is a fantastic opportunity for young men to develop the leadership skills necessary to thrive in school, college and life all while exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.  For more information about our exceptional and affordable programs visit www.ymcaboys.org
