Superintendent Juneau's Listening and Learning Tour
September - November 2018 Dates
Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Denise Juneau embarked on a comprehensive Listening and Learning Tour to gather an understanding of the district's strengths, challenges, and what is most important for her to consider as plans are developed for the district's future.
The tour included regional town halls and language-based and/or culturally focused community meetings to ensure diverse perspectives and ideas are gathered. All meetings were hosted or co-hosted with community partners.
Listening and Learning Tour Report
Ultimately, community discussions will become the foundation of a revised strategic plan that maps the district's course for the coming years. A summary of the Listening and Learning Tour findings will be published in November 2018.
