School Board Work Session: Advanced Learning Task Force, Student Assignment Transition Plan, and School Boundaries

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019 the Seattle School Board will convene for a work session to review approved policy #2190 recommendations from the Advanced Learning Task Force (ALTF).

The Board will also hear from Enrollment Planning regarding proposed updates to the Student Assignment Transition Plan, as well as ideas about potential elementary school boundary changes in the South East that have been in discussion over the past year and a half. There will also be an announcement about upcoming opportunities for community engagement and options for submitting feedback.

More information about the southeast boundary changes.

This is a public meeting, but there will not be public testimony. A more detailed agenda for the Work Session can be accessed on the Board website.
