    We are pleased to invite new members to serve on the ITAC (Information Technology Advisory Committee).

    The application was open from October 23 - December 7, 2020.

    The application was extended until December 7. Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Director of Technology and the Board Executive Committee. Based on that review, new members will be selected to serve on the committee.

    The purpose of the Information Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) is to serve as an advisory committee in planning for future funding as well as to provide technical expertise and community input on an ongoing basis.

    It is a standing committee of 19 members with overlapping terms to provide continuity. The committee consist of community members and members from employee groups, and students.

    The focus is to advise Superintendent Juneau, School Board, SPS staff and community in support of the district's strategic goals as designated by the Board.

    As an ITAC committee member, you will have several responsibilities listed on the ITAC Committee Charge, please consider the responsibilities before deciding whether to accept the invitation.

    The meetings take place the third Monday of every month from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
