    K-12 Enrollment for 2020-21 School Year Is Open

    It’s not too late to enroll for the 2020-21 school year! School begins remotely this Friday, September 4 for grades 1–12, and Tuesday, September 8 for kindergarten.

     

    Look up Your Attendance Area School

    Students are guaranteed a seat at their neighborhood (Attendance Area) school. To find out which school your child will attend, enter your home address on the Address Lookup tool.

    How to Enroll

    Enroll Online: School registration can be completed online at on the SPS enrollment webpage.

    Enroll In-person: Seattle Public Schools will offer in-person enrollment support the first week of school. The enrollment center is located at the John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence, 2445 3rd Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98134

    The enrollment center will be open September 14 - 17, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. After September 21, we will be open for in-person enrollment services Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

    Parents and guardians will need a photo ID or passport, two pieces of address verification, certificate of immunization, and birth certificate or passport (for students entering kindergarten or first grade only).

    Information for visiting the John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence (JSCEE) during the COVID-19 response:

    • To protect our staff and your family, please do not come to the JSCEE if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever or chills; cough or shortness of breath/difficulty breathing; muscle or body aches; vomiting or diarrhea; new loss of taste or smell.
    • Only two families will be allowed to enter the JSCEE lobby at a time.
    • Only two people per household should plan to come to enroll.
    • To allow for social distancing, only five families can line up at a time, please stay in your car until called into line.
    • Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth must be worn at all times.
    • SPS staff will be wearing masks and will sanitize their stations between each visitor.
