The Transportation Department offers supplemental shuttle service to provide assistance to students who are eligible for an ORCA card provided by the district, in accordance with the Transportation Service Standards. Shuttle service is offered in circumstances where there is no Metro service in a specific geographical area within district boundaries or a severe lack of Metro capacity near a school destination.

Shuttle service is similar to normal route service because it will be provided on a yellow bus and riders are required to adhere to the school bus rules. Rules No. 2 and No. 3 do not apply on shuttles, students will be allowed to get on or off the bus at any of the listed stop locations.

Shuttle service is different than normal route service because students are not assigned to these shuttle routes and seat availability is limited to the number of students who can ride safely. Also note that in cases of shuttle routes where students are not assigned, School Messenger is not available to communicate delays.

Information regarding any delays on these routes will be posted on the Delayed Bus Information page as soon as possible.
