Free, confidential, and culturally relevant hotline available to offer referrals, information, safety planning, and support for all languages. King County Specific Supports:

BGLAD @ Youth Eastside Services:

BGLAD is a free weekly drop-in social support group for high-school youth, established as a welcoming and affirming space for people exploring or seeking support for their identities. BGLAD is co-facilitated by licensed mental health professionals who have experience working with LGBTQ+ youth. The facilitators help members feel welcome, maintain the rules of mutual respect and confidentiality, and offer ideas and resources during group time. 425-747-4937

Camp Ten Trees:

Residential camping programs for LGBTQ+ youth and youth of LGBTQ+ families. 206-288-9568

Cedar River Clinics:

Wellness and transgender services offered at clinics and online telemedicine. Includes reproductive and sexual health services, hormone therapy, screening and referrals for health, mental health, and substance abuse needs, and transgender services based on ICATH informed consent model. Offers free transportation if needed.800-572-4223

Diverse Harmony:

Queer-Straight Alliance Youth Chorus and safe space for singers 13-22 who identify as queer, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, asexual, or allied, among many others. Email to join.

Gay City:

Hub for LGBTQ Individuals seeks affirming and responsive resource, wellness, and community. For youth, has meetings twice a month called Queer N’Teen to talk about mental health support and community building.

Ingersoll Gender Center:

Mutual support and education organization for transgender, gender variant and genderqueer people, and the people who support them. Provides peer support groups, community engagement, education, and resources. 206-849-7859

Lambert House :

Around 50 different programs, activities, resources, and services for LGBTQ+ youth. Includes mentoring, friend drop-in spaces, support groups, dinner with divas, queer movie nights, case management, free haircuts and tranzfermations, and events.206-322-2515 

Neighborcare Health at 45th St:

Provides gender affirming care and sliding scale services for medical, behavioral health, and dental. 206-633-3350

The NW Network:

Network of Bi, Trans, Lesbian, and Gay Survivors of Abuse. Provides support for survivors, community engagement, youth programs, and training.206-568-7777

Peer Seattle:

Peer support, groups, voucher programs, anonymous HIV testing, and connection to resources for the LGBTQ community impacted by addiction, mental health and/or HIV.206-322-2437

PFLAG:

Support groups, education, and advocacy around sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Has specific groups for LGBTQ+ people, family, and allies. 206-325-7724

Powerful Voices:

Provides an employment program, case management, and empowerment programs for girls*(*a girl is anyone who identifies as one) in middle schools and juvenile detention. 206-860-1026

Reel Queer Youth:

A video production and media literacy training for LGBTQ youth and their allies ages 13-20. Full and partial scholarships are available.

Seattle Children’s Gender Clinic:

Cares for children, adolescents, and youth whose gender identity is different from their sex at birth and do not identify with traditional definitions of male or female. Provides pubertal blockers, cross-sex hormones, mental health support and readiness discussion, and autism gender clinic. 206-987-2028

Teen Feed:

Free confidential programs and hot meals responding to basic needs of homeless and at-risk youth at various University District meal sites. 206-522-4366 

@YAMWashington:

Youth Advocacy Media supports queer youth in Washington State with resources, community, and advocacy. Part of Gay City.

Youth Speaks:

(A Program of Arts Corps): Collective for youth spoken word poetry, creating avenues for youth voices through creative writing instruction and performance opportunities. 206-722-5440

Homeless Shelter:

Youthcare:

Drop in and overnight shelters located in University District, Downtown, and South Seattle. Has case management, basic need support, medical care, meals, and support with legal aid.206-622-5555

Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Washington State:

Advocacy and education to organize around LGBTQ+ affirming public policy, teacher trainings, events for students, educations, parents, and allies. 206-330-2099

TransFamilies:

REFUGE Restrooms:

Refuge Restrooms is a web application that seeks to provide safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming individuals. Users can search for restrooms by proximity to a search location, add new restroom listings, as well as comment and rate existing listings.
