    Summer Skills Center Registration is Open!

    The Summer Skills Center Program provides FREE Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses to Seattle Public Schools students entering 9th through 12th grade in September. 

    Summer courses take place weekdays from July 9th until August 3rd, 2018. Classes are held from 11:30 am to 4:15 pm daily. Please keep in mind, you may not take a course you have already taken.

    Summer Staircase

    Summer Staircase for Elementary Students

    How to register: Contact your child's teacher or the interventionist at your child's school.

    Summer Staircase is a high quality program for students currently in kindergarten through fourth grade, offered at 18 sites around the city.

    When: June 25 - July 27, 2018, Monday - Friday, times vary by site. No school 7/4.

    Where: 16 sites; students placed closest to home address.

    Who: All students welcome; preference given to students below grade level as determined by MAP or Smarter Balanced assessments.

    Cost: Free (Breakfast and lunch are provided)

    Transportation: Provided to students who live outside of a one-mile radius to a Summer Staircase site. 

    Attendance: Students may not miss more than three days.

    Before/After Care: Not included. Contact community center or outside child care provider for options.
